OTAM Tested 7000th in Qatar

ITU OTAM added a new one to its achievements. He has completed 7000th of the tests he has carried out since its establishment for the Sudden Response Boat for Qatar Navy.

On January 13, in the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the first domestic and national heavy vehicle engine developed by BMC Power was fired by Osman Dur, the General Manager of BMC Power, in ITU OTAM laboratories. ITU OTAM completed its 7000th test for Yonca-Onuk Shipyard’s Sudden Response Boat for Qatar Navy. Yonca Onuk MRTP20 conducted noise measurements in equivalent, continuous and A-weighted sound pressure levels at 5 different points at the helm and all cabins of the Sudden Response Boat and at 5 different speed stages including 15 knots and 62 knots which is the maximum speed of the boat.

Yonca-Onuk Shipyard, which was established in 1986, manufactures high-speed, advanced composite materials of military and commercial boats using the latest technology in its facility with a closed area of ​​12,500m² in Tuzla, up to 50m length and 400 displacement tons.
