This Privacy Notice has been prepared by OTAM Otomotiv Teknolojileri Araştırma Geliştirme Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.Ş. (“OTAM” or “Company”) as the data controller under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), to inform you about how your personal data is processed on https://otam.com.tr.

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes, in accordance with the conditions set out in Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK:

- Measuring website performance, ensuring security, and improving the site
- Fulfilling legal obligations
- Complying with information retention, reporting, and disclosure obligations under applicable legislation

Your personal data may be transferred to authorized public institutions, to IT service providers we work with (hosting, e-mail, analytics services), and to authorities legally entitled to request information, within the limits set out in Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK. Cross-border transfers are made only with your explicit consent or within the exceptions set out in Article 9 of KVKK.

Your personal data is collected through contact forms, quote forms, cookies, and your interactions with the website (in automated or partially automated ways), as well as through e-mail, telephone, and other communication channels. The legal grounds for processing include the conclusion or performance of a contract, fulfillment of OTAM’s legal obligations, our legitimate interests, and your explicit consent where applicable.
6. Your Rights under KVKK
Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is processed,
- Request information if it has been processed,
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with such purpose,
- Know the third parties to whom your data has been transferred, in Turkey or abroad,
- Request correction in case of incomplete or inaccurate processing,
- Request deletion or destruction under the conditions set out in KVKK and related regulations,
- Request that any correction, deletion, or destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
- Object to any outcome that is unfavorable to you arising from analysis solely by automated systems,
- Request compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.
7. How to Apply
You may submit your requests regarding the above rights, together with documents identifying you, through one of the following channels:

Your requests will be answered within 30 days at the latest, as required by Article 13/2 of KVKK.
